Hpi Big Bore Shocks Leaking

Hi,I'm new to this forum,and want to thank you for any help.Just picked up my big bore today.Filled the first one no air bubbles,install the top cap,and its leak out the bottom cap.Even tightened it,still leaks.I see a oring to seal it.But is this common?

first off welcome to the forum, hmmm I'm just wondering if maybe you over filled them a bit or something as usually they shouldnt be leaking!!

I just did the other three and their fine.I think what may have happened is I didnt tighten the lower cap,and it leaked and I think the old might have swelled the oring tighter.Because their no drag from the oring when you tighten it like the other three.So off to home depot to try to get a bit larger oring.I will let you know how it turns out.Thanks for the reply!

You might want to see if you pinched the o-ring when you put it together...that is common on the old stock shocks...

These are the HPI big bores for the savage.All good now seems like.Got a bit thicker oring for that one.Weird.
