i used caustic soda in tepid water, gloves and a bucket of hot soapy water to clean them after they were dipped.
So i put them on string and made the caustic soda very strong dropped them into the solution and with in 10-20 seconds the colour was removed then put them straight into the soapy water to stop the effects of the caustic soda. hung them to dry and got my demel out out and used mother billet to polish them. took a bit of time but I'm happy with the results
