Hey guys some of you know i do have the Fast Lane Machine Extended TVP's for my Savage X, i ran the black RPM center skid plate and after i got the TVP's i realized i couldn't use it LOL..
So here is how you can use the RPM savage x skid plate with the FLM EXT TVP's
• As you can see the skid plate does not match the TVP-
• Step one pre-heat a burner on the stove (RED HOT)
hold the skid plate 5" above the burner
• Place the skid plate braces on the TVP's (LIKE SO)
• Since the skid plate is going to be HOT use oven gloves or some thing and fit
the skid plate on the TVP's and screw it in, as the skid plate cools it will fit it self in the "straight" position..
• Since the FLM EXT TVP's are 40mm longer you have a 40mm gap at the rear of the skid plate..
• You can drill 2 holes in the skid plate to access the 2 motor mount bolts, (DON'T MESS UP LIKE ME LOL)
Or you can just go buy the FLM EXT Center Skid Plate ::
