Do you think its worth belting the foam as well or would that be over kill? Anyone have experience belting both?

Plus do you think this tape below would be too wide to run on the same Dirt Claws tires you have?

Also what foam inserts are those? Would you recommend upgrading from the standard foam inserts?

Thanks

Josh

Belting the foam in my opinon would not be a good idea, in my opinion it would have a negative effect on how the tire and foam support works together. I don't see how it would be of any benifit.

I did a conversion for the width of the tape you asked about (25MM). That works out to be just under an inch wide (too narrow). I think it would be better to use tape that is the same continuous width of the tread you are belting.

The foam inserts are proline inserts. I highly recomend them.

When you get your tire, measure the width and go from there..
and for the foams ( http://www.amainhobbies.com/product...-Molded-1-8-Truggy-Maxx-Foam-Inserts-Yellow-2 )
If you buy the Pro-Line BadLands MT they come with that foam ^

I'm new to this i was just trying to understand what belting the tires does for the performance. i appreciate any explanations
