How will I be able to get low end grunt from a nitro star 21bb it's fitted to a hpi mt2 .. I no it's not the right sight😉 but you all seem to no your stuff regarding savage engines witch I believe this came from .it seems to lack this and takes ages to kick into the second stage of the power range any help would be good

Quite a bit random but fort u would share this vid of a man crashing leaving my work compound funny lol
Ignore the idiot in the background sum 1 in the office

Am I right on thinking that a smaller tooth clutch bell will give me more low end grunt . Currently I have 17T clutch bell and 52T spur . Would a 13T clutch bell give me better low end ?

yes it would give a bit more bottom end, but 4 tooth jump is quite drastic....... but if it all meshes correctly give it a try......

The car in your video seems to be running pretty good. Is that the car you want to get low end grunt on.

Yer that's the car . It's fine on loose gravel but lacks fast acceleration from a stand still on any thing else .i think I have got the tuning kinda right and the clutch is a little bit worn but not exsesive

It does sound really good on the top end. I can hear it kicking in like a powerband. Try to post some pictures of the car with the body off. I don't know what a .21 bb is. Is that an old motor with ball bearings?

Haha. I think that motor should have tons of low end since its from a savage. Try some different gears like jam said. I'm not sure about that motor but it looks like your tune on the high speed needle is pretty lean. Go back to the baseline settings on everything including idle opening. Just record your current settings so you can get back there. I think the low speed setting can get you that instant power that you want.

Ha ha. I'm probably not the member here that you were hoping to help you out but I try.

I have a 3.5 .21bb savage I run 17 clutch bell and 52 spur and mine pulls grunt wheels off ground

Them pictures where taken a while ago it's tuned different now . Jeff that's the same is I'm running but I don't get any weelies witch I want I'm more intrested in the low end rather than top end speed what plugg you running and do you no your needle settings of hand . Could it be becauce it's not in a savage and fitted to the MT2 it's a lot lower than the savage
