How much will it cost me to build a savage?

I'm not building this... this is just for others to get an idea of what it will cost them to build a flm / cf savage. I know there may be some odds and ends missing no need to point everything out.. This is just an example of what most items would cost you and where you'd be at after your builds about 98% done.. Alot of us learned the hard way and bought a 300+ dollar savage then started from there.. IMO this is the route to go.. Build your own savage and make it completely custom. If you are one of those guys just upgrading a Savage X you can delete alot of those items posted below and save some coin. Hope this helps clear alot of questions about how much would a build cost.

i know those prices look steep but you gotta realize you just build 2 top-of-the-line savages right there.

i think an rtr savage was like $400 & somethin

plus all the upgrades we do cost way more.

90% of those prices i just got off ebay.. Since thats the only LHS that stocks anything..

Very nice thread. Helps slot of ppl out that hasn't built one from ground up yet. And like fredyj said that price list kinds high bit that's for best stuff. A basically stock x with a few hop ups would be about the same price as a rtr. If built from ground up.

I agree! That is for the mid mod and and a few upgrades. Non the less this will help others wanting to do the modification and forcasted cost build. I'll have my build soon to post and in hope of helping others a well.
