How Do you remove bearings?

How can you remove bearings without damaging them?

What bearings ? if its engine bearings heat the block up to 300* the tap them out ..

other bearings just tap them out

The other bearings, like in the axle carriers. Should i just use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer?

I normally just put them out from the backside with a flat-blade screwdriver or hex driver. It's usually best to push on one side, then the other, then back, etc., and "rock" them out so they don't wedge into the plastic.

My glow plug wrench fits perfect in the hole and has less chance of fubaring the bearing seal than a flat screw driver. I have also used wooden dowels for the same purpose.
