How do I hook up the carb linkage on a Savage 21?

Hi I’ve took my engine out my savage 21 to fit a pull start and on putting it back in I can’t figure out how the carb linkage went??I'm totally confused?can’t remember how I took it off?is there suppose be a ball on end of the car ball?thanks in advance

The black ball link snaps onto the ball on the carburetor

Jam 1 is correct linkage snaps onto ball on carburetor. Here is a tip when taking things apart take a picture with phone. Different angles. Its always a big help when your new.
