How did you guys Fix the buttons on your Rolo Starts??

Alright, I was playing with my Rolo Start today and the button finally gave out. I know its the button because I took it apart and touched the terminals together via a screwdriver and the motor started and turned fine but when pushing the button it don't work.

I know others have had this same problem. So what did you do to fix them?

cut it out and solder in a momentary switch. that would probably work.

+1 go to digi key they will most likely have the exact button for replacement

No Digi Key near me. There is only a Radio Shack and they are limited stock on anything any more.

LOL Bank. Its closer to me than most, HEHE. I'm in MN about 4 hrs away from there.

Alright, I got it working. I stopped at Radio Shack and they has this button that I thought would fit how I planned to get it in there. Anyway it worked great. I hope it holds up and lasts. Here are a few shots of how I did it.

Sorry I am no electrician. I wish I would have has some shrink tubing so instead I used Black Tape. Turned out OK.

if i had a dollar for every roto start that has broke on me i would have $5 dollars. Managed to fix all but two. I switched one over to a automotive switch once that worked great. till the armature in the motor broke.
