Hop-ups for a jumper =D

I love jumps bigger badder better(also more broken haha). I have installed Steel Spur(i know most of yas hate it but i kept chewing plastic),clutch bell, clutch, center skid,steel brake discs,I did the HPI adjustable springs(i'll take suggestions incase i bust these),getting the Ofna throttle/brake mod tommorrow. Pretty much just wondering what ya'll woud suggest for a serious jumper on hop ups. Thanks

Aluminum tank and mounts as well as integy nerf bars to start. Golden Horizons has a great tank. stay away from alum arms and shock towers. my opinion

if you're have trouble chewing plastic spurs when jumping, try easing back on the throttle when landing...nothing is more destructive on the spur then the sudden starting/stopping/changing speeds, than jumping, and holding the throttle wide open while landing...

I second that, try altering your driving style a tad.


Metal spurs cause problems, it just moves on down the line the next weakest link. A trashed spur is better than a trashed engine. As far as things to upgrade no need to, upgrade orreplace when something breaks. You said you are getting the ofna mod, dink around and get it set up perfectly. Get a hump pack and a fail-safe.

shocks get 4 LST shocks with the IRC conversion

when those duel disks brakes where out get and oversized fullforce hub with 2 Vertigo Performance disks

servos get high torque servos

if your ever thinking of swapping the a-arms and stuff go with the rpm a-arms there way stronger then stock and lighter!! there guaranteed for life not to break!! and welcome to the forum buddy!!!!!!
