Wassup fellas. So I took my savage 4.6 on its maiden voyage yesterday and boy was I impressed! This thing literally back flips and lands on its roof on full throttle launches.....its a beautiful thing. Ofcourse after running 5 tanks through it I completely stripped the spur. I just ordered 10 spare spurs, but my question is what can I do to actually tame it a little, especially the bottom end (from a dig). Should I back off the slipper a bit or will this fry it? Or should I richen it up a tad?

You can do both, but check your spur/bell gear mesh. You don't want to land on throttle from jumps either...tends to stip the spur gears fast.

The best way to tame it down a little from flipping on its lid all the time is to go to a larger CB maybe 1 to 2 teeth larger. You can also go to a larger Spur but since you ordered 10 spares you would be best going larger on the Clutch Bell.

As for stripping the SG do what JC stated.

Make sure when you land your finger is not on the throttle or break it tends to wreck your drive train... Did you order all the same teeth spurs?
