help with getting 40 series tires on the wheels...

i traded for some GRP monster truck tires with axial beadlock wheels. i wanted to get the wheels and tires mounted, but i cant get the tire over the wheel. I can get it about half way over and then the wheel just digs into the insert and wont let me get the wheel on any farther. anyone have any tips?
