Had the same problem with my Axial 40 series beadlocks, i ended up gluing the tyre bead into the wheels beadlock groove out of sheer frustration of the beads pulling free on the first couple of tanks of every run, then having to spend an hour or so re-setting the beadlocks.

The wheels are now in the bin as the hexes stripped out lol.

Get some Maximizer Beadlocks. They are by far the best bead locks on the market. You won't have these problems with them.

+1 on the Maximizers... But just so you know they don't make them in 40 series..

I have the Maximizers and Zombie maxes and have had the tire partially pull out of the bead as well. It may be a damaged side ring or the sheer amount of power a fire breathing Zr.30 makes, check and make sure that everythings clean and plenty tight.

its just the horribleness of beadlocks in general. you have a metal screw grabbing on plastic threads, It happened with my axial beadlocks and mulchers on my first run with them. imo beadlocks are horrible

i have the maximizer beads & although I'm not in love with them, they've never thrown a bead (losi zombies), through several gallons of fuel, even running modded mills.

i'm wondering if its because i duct taped the tires & used moulded foams. the tires don't balloon because of these which may, in turn, put less stress on the bead inside the bead-lock?

just a theory :dunno:

I use molded foams inside taped badlands on maximizers and they do come out of the beadlock from time to time. But its only a small area so its relatively easy to get it fixed in little time...

For now I still prefer them over glued tires, especially my set of proline mashers on axial oversize rims which really get torn apart in the quarry I bash most of the time.

I got maximizers with badlands on them. I was always partially pulling beads out before I taped them and put the shims for narrow beaded tires. Since then I have put them on my dad's muggy and even the front tires getting lit up all the time can't pull the beads out. I truly believe that tire ballooning is what contributes the most to beads coming out of bead locks.

I have half offset dish wheels with crimefighters on them. That is truly a nice setup. So much grip. They are starting to wear down playing with them on the street, but they were $20 ebay tires. The only way I will buy tires for my savage anymore.

Just that theres no ballooning at all on my wheels with tape and medium firm molded foams. So, that cant be my issue. I think its the medium sized rocks where I drive - they even cut little holes into the tire wall...

I use the 1/2 inch offset Maximzers. I duct taped the tires and used Pro-line molded foams. I still blew beads with the Zombies and the Badlands. I fixed this by using all 8 of the Rage Rings Maximizer includes. Never blown a bead since. They include the rage rings for a reason. BTW pretty much any Pro-line tires needs the Rage Rings due to their super small bead. Maximizers are the best damn beadlock rim on the market period.

Using the rings with badlands is a given - they even mention it on that small instruction paper piece.

There some great advice here. Glue the tyre to the wheel when using Proline & Axial beads, if you can't stop them popping. Use molded foams. Duct tape the the tyres. Always use the rings when using Maximizer's. I got both Axial & Maximizer beads and the Maxi's are a far better wheel. Touch wood, I haven't pop a bead yet.
