Help!glow plug has little black marks on the bottom.

Hi everyone. My Savage x RTR 4.6 just went through a glow plug today and when i pulled it out it had black marks on the bottom. Is this new fuel i'm using or something else? The new fuel has 11% oil content and 30 % nitro and is called XP fuel extreme performance. Thanks.

Hi i'd just like to add that it's not starting at all now.

It may not be starting becuase the element could be shot (Not heating up).

Can you get us a good picture of what the Plug looks like?

Hey. I tried to take a picture but u couldn't see it very well. I'll try to figure the problem out. I guess the question is..is it safe to run 30% nitro content with 11% oil content in a stock 4.6. Thanks alout for the help.

may just be burnt out from time or new fuel may be running lean

You should be just fine with the percentages you mentioned. But if the fuel is cheap you wont get the best performance from it. I haven't heard of that fuel personally but maybe someone else has.
