hardcase lipos.

ive heard they're dangerous, and i've heard that others love them... "racers use them" is another thing ive heard. i want some hardcase lipos but if they are dangerous because you cant tell if a cell is puffed, i don't... what's your opinion?

hard case are the way to go. althogh i have had good luck with cheap ones. currently I'm running expensive SMC's tho and love em. btw LJ you have alot of....ummmm... electric gifts i see.

if i have to buy expensive lipos to be safe ill stick with NiMH packs

you don't have to buy expensive lipos. its all in how there handled. that is no bomb there, thats a good cheap LiPo, which is a good substitute for those who cant afford the high level lipos. i started with them and they were great, and many of my friends use them with no issues. I was reading about a set of hyperions blowing up the other day, and i have seen SMC's puffed before as well. dollars doesnt mean good lipos.
