Hey guys,

no, not the film ...

what weight (is that the right term?) or viscosity! (oooh get me!) grease would you recommend for putting on the outer casing of a savage diff before popping it back into its housing?

Cheers,

jammer, I use a white lithium grease.

the hobby shop may send you a small tube from hpi with your new diffs

I use automotive marine (water proof) greese. My favorite is slick 50. I don't use it in the diff just on the pinion and ring gears

That is true! ModelSport have been extremely helpful over this issue. Speaking to the sales guy he said their technician was pretty anal about getting things spot on before returning repairs so they may do that.

waterproof!! hmm, i don't plan on sending mine swimming! 😉

Slick 50 grease for me. Holds on the ring and pinion great. Any good bearing

grease should also do fine for you.
