Use the standard plug called for in your manual, wrap the cooling head with tinfoil or something to retain heat in the engine..... running in cold weather will also increase the chance of breaking an arm or something plastic as it does not flex well in really cold weather...
 
also remember to preheat your engine prior to taking it out in extreme cold. set it near the car heater with the body off so the block gets warm to make starting and running easier...
 
Glow plug isn't related to the ambient temp you run it in. It's related to the compression/nitro content of your engine/fuel. In a typical big block with 20% nitro, a medium to medium-hot plug is typically what you'd want. 25% nitro, medium plug, 30%+, cold plug and probably an extra shim needs added to the head.
