Okay so My f4.6 just burned a glow plug. First one its ever done in even after almost 3 gallons of fuel ran through it. It was a trooper...Haha
Any way, I have some other glow plugs but I noticed the threads are longer, so It will stick down farther into the engine? They are not hpi plugs. They are not turbo plugs, they're just a little longer.
Does it matter if the plug sticks farther down into the engine? Thanks would be great to get some help here.

I'm pretty sure it'll alter the compression ratio of the motor, but don't quote me on it. Or, it may be too long and the piston will hit the plug while it's runnin. I'd suggest just gettin a different plug that's the right length. McCoy plugs are great plugs to use also.
