So I busted out the x today after 2 months of sitting in my house collecting dust. fired up quick and ran great after 1 or 2 adjustments to lean on the hsn. the truck only has 3 tanks through it after my break in tanks. I have the hsn tuned to my liking, nice smoke trail pulling temps between 246 and 275 after some wot passes, and ripping wheelies. it shifts to second too quickly for my liking. if i tune my trans to shift later do I have to re-tune my hsn? do you guys recommend adjusting the lsn and idle screws? i would like a higher idle and as much low end punch as I can get. do i have to readjust the linkage from my throttle servo to my carb to compensate for the change in idle screw? i have the k 4.6<--i know blahhhh, I'm gonna run it into the ground before i get an lrp.

thanks,
f1n

It just depends man on the needle adjustments. Giveit a try and see bro .. you most likly have to do a little fine tuning to get it where you like

thanks man thats what I figured. I'm gonna change up my linkage also tired of the play in the ball links

that k 4.6 is nothing to sneeze at. they make great power with easy tuning abilty great reliabilty and many gallons can be achieved on them if properly maintained....but LRP are bananas:dance kitty

yeah i have some loot to spend. deciding on weather to buy an electric heli and some flm parts or some flm parts and an lrp....
