At the risk of sounding new,wichI am,I need some help with gearing.I just installed the three speed kit in my SS.The additional torque Is great .I had to adjust the shift points Because I have the K4.6.It shifts great and I love the torque,but it sounds like the engine has a LOT more to give but the gear is just not ther. Please let me know what gears to change and how that will work.I have good wrenching skills I just don't undefstand gearing yet. Any and all help will be appreaciated.:eyesOpenStupid:

Wait for the updated #77065 high-speed 3rd gear set to come out and throw that in there. That'll give you a top-end boost, assuming your engine can pull the gear! The "stock" 3-speed does virtually nothing for improving top speed despite what the advertising tells you.
