just fitted my new 49t gear and it cam with 2 clutch pads do i use both and gear looks different from standard is hpi though

Grab a pict of it and post it. The sliper that came on the original X was a dual slipper where all the rest are. What model truck do you have?

its a 4.6 and slipper one side original gear was brace one side this isnt

Is this a metal gear if so it doesnt need the bracing like the plastic gear. If its plastic post a pict or a link or just tell us which one it is and well look it up and see what we think.

its the plastic ive bought one for a dual slipper clutch and don't run one but and moded to fit when did the cahnage from one to other?

The only one with the dual slipper was the X F4.1 I believe.

Ya good question because I have never had any issues with my dual slipper and haven't heard much complaining for others.
