I grew up on nitro savages, decided to get a flux after my dad got one a year ago. Of course like an idiot I grabbed 2x3s right off the bat, to be faster than his 4s setup. It was a mistake, but at the moment I cant afford 4s, and don't want to go through the hassle of returning my 6s setup.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to gear ratios, is the stock 44t/20t a bad setup to run on 2x3s 5000mah 25c, and if so which to change and to what tooth counts?
I literally drove it for 30 minutes before it wouldnt move anymore, broke the diffrential shaft where it holds the pin(86248) in the rear, and thought something was wrong in the front aswell as the truck would not move at all when power was applied. Took the front diff apart cant find anything wrong with it. Dog bones are all good, main gear and the bevel are good, aswell as the tranny(which i dissassembled), and both the 44t and 20t drive gears. I bought two whole new diffrentials as I hear the diffs seem to break alot on these.
I'm hoping after the diffrential replacements ill have a moving truck again.
