futuba 3pm 3 channel question

i just purchased this radio and receiver, http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&P=SM&I=LXPZT7#tech and was wondering if i will still need to buy a fail safe so i don't have another run away truck on my hands? thanks for your help.

You don't need a fail safe as the radio has one built in. However you have to set it every time you turn it on. But its easy.

All you have to do is turn everything on. Then place the trigger where you want it (Brakes) and on the back side of the remote there is a button like 1/4" x 3/4" with a F/S on it push it for like 2 seconds and it will then flash and continue to flash till you turn it off (Stating that the FS is set). The Fail safe has now been set.

i don't set mine everytime i turn on. i tested it, and it works fine without using the lil button on the back.

that's for the analog servos tho, right?

cuz i use 2 ace servos.
