futaba 2.4g antenna repair

Hey, to make a long story short, my antenna on my rx was destroyed, and i was considering sending it to futaba for repair, but $40 an hour, half hour min. i got brave and tore rx apart.
seems the 2.4g antenna is a snap on.. fed it thru the antenna grommet,fed the new one thru, snap it on on and your done,easy enough...i don't have the price on a new antenna. ill have to contact futaba tomorrow, and i'll do a follow up.....if this has already been covered, my bad. if not .maybe, it will help another.....peace

Great info, I have a Futaba as well, that's good to know. The pic is still quite small even when you click it though.

yea,sorry my wife has the good camara and she's out of town,but once you get the case open, its kind of self explaintory.

hey,just a quick update, i got thru to futaba, the antenna was $17.78 shipped.
i've looked around and was not able to find the antenna anywer else.so if anyone know were you can get this cheaper,please post up.peace

sure,no problem ,hope this helps.if you will look right above the wire there is a small golden circular snap.
