is blue thunder fuel any good?

personal experience, trinity monster has made my mill run significantly better than blue thunder (and hpi fuel for that matter) used to be kinda hard to start & get temps under control

when i ran blue thunder my temps shot through the roof then after going back to my regular fuel temps were back to normal..

i like sidewinder but the hobby shop quit sellin it and the only ones they had was blue thunder and top fuel t bt is hard to tune

tis hard on the owb too. the high oil content causes it to slip and therefroe fail earlier.

Your screwed if thats the only selection. Ask him if you were to buy a case of whatever you wanted, see if he would buy it for you at his cost.

Man i have been running Top Fuel no for 3years an i love it.I run33% in my Savage 4.6 its nice.Once u get it tune right with it and the right glow plug u should befine

My savyes are running on BigBang and the rs4 runs on Dynaglo. Having NO problems at all.

Easy to tune, lots of power and snappy throttling 😎

i'd just as soon run water, as have to run blue thunder. oil content is way to high. i run byron's 30% with 12% oil content, and thus far its the best i've found..

my personal favorite is morgan backyard basher 20% nitro 16% oil..... now some say that the oil content is too high but i have to disagree on that ..... to me 8+ gallons (HARD ,ABUSIVE GALLONS)on a stock k4.6 mill with still enuf compression to lift the truck by the pullcord is all the proof i need that its a good fuel !!! and it makes good power as well to me same as sidewinder 20%..... but IMHO a longer engine life, ive seen BTW how quickly a too lean engine on 30/10 fuel can burn up....... i mean from great engine to done cooked toasted ... pretty much a paperweight in less than a tank !!!!!

i have never ran blue thunder i9 run byrons 30% and love it i use to run trinty and my lhs stopped selling it because trinity stoped making it. backyoard basher is a good fuel but to much oil for me makes a big mess on the truck just after one tank. this is just my 2 cents take it for what its worth.
