fuel tank repair

Is there any way to fix a hole(small screw hole) in a fuel tank(plastic)? Thanks Joe

Yeah...undo the 2 clips and the 2 lines, pull it out, and drop in a new one...lol. No other way I know of, but perhaps someone has done it?

Thanks savage x. Got the glue gun heating up right now. I got a new tank ordered but this will get me by until I receive it. Thanks Joe

Joe do you have a broken fuel tank laying around? if you do

use the old tank as a donor for plastic .. take a soldering iron and melt some plastic on the hole of the tank you want to repair.

done this many times and works GREAT !!!!

Thanks guys. I have repaired it with the heat glue gun. No more hole. Thanks again. Joe
