imho i rather take a long time to do a build cuz that way you know its done to the way you want it and doesn't look just thrown together. but LEST SEE SOME PICS!!!! lol

Very nice!! Let us know how you get on with the LST XXL shock caps mate, my rear right caps kept breaking with the slightest of roll-overs before i had to get alloy caps to sort it out.

heres some glamour shots with a new lid i just finished. We are gonna try and hit up a motocross track this weekend and put it through its paces.

thanks for the comments guys. Now to get it rolling without something breaking haha.

On its first run I must have had the mesh wrong and junked a steel spur and cb, Lesson learned the hard way. I put on a plastic spur with a stock cb and as soon as i went through the yard that spur went.

I have 3 more spurs that should be on my doorstep today from towerhobbies since my lhs was out of 47t spurs and vented bells.

I have yet to even open thing up and see what she can do. 1/4 -1/2 throttle is all it's seen so far.

on top of that my dx3s is being stupid too. i got it used from the bay but until yesterday it worked great. If i can't figure anything out soon I will go back to my Airtronics MX3 FHSS.

Well it's been a while since I've posted anything. Things have been really busy lately.

Today I went on a mission to figured out and fix my sg/cb problem. I was running the Nova motor mount and thought that if i made things a little easier on myself and limit the adjustment of the motor to side to side that may help me get my mesh right. While switching motor mounts i wanted to figure out why my clutch shoes were hanging out of the cb as well.

Come to find out i was using the wrong pilot nut. I'm not sure what one I was using but it was a tad longer than what i needed.

I made a trip to the lhs and got a hpi pilot nut for a 25 motor and swaped it out. No more clutch shoes hanging out now. I set the motor back in and ran a tank through. everything seems to be working now as far as the cb/sg goes.

I was checking my temps and its running anywhere from 260-275 degrees and i have yet to tune it. I not sure if I have a air leak or not. I'm gonna try and re-seal the carb and pinch bolt tomorrow and see if that helps.

I have been running the truck the last couple of weeks trying to work out the rest of the kinks. the only problems I seem to be having now it my from turnbuckles keep coming off and the zombie max tires will only hook up in grassy areas and even then its not too great.

I have a suspension conversion coming and should be here soon. hopefully that will help the problem with the turnbuckles as well as help keep it in a straight line lol.

I see alot of people talking about badlands tires and i am considering them. are there any other options out there that compare to the badlands?

One more thing. This truck with the CEN diffs and a 17/47 cb/sg set up is keeping the front down. I have an extra top to a 3 speed tranny and I'm going to put a 49t sg on it just to make switching my sg go a little faster. I am going to run the 49t sg tomorrow hopefully i can get my camera crew to bring the camera this time haha.
