Hello again everyone, i have a few questions and any assistance would be helpful.
1). What parts should i upgrade to aluminum once i start breaking them?
2). How good are the stock shocks, can they be tuned good for jumps and handling or is there something else i should invest in?
3). Wheels and tires? Is there a good all around tire for all surfaces?
4). Stock pinion or install included 24t?
5). ESC programming, is the factory program good or should i get the castle link or if not needed just a usb cable and download castle link program. And if so what are some good settings?
6). Anything else i am missing, even basic mods or tuning tips?

1). What parts should i upgrade to aluminum once i start breaking them?
Rear hub carriers and shock caps are the only thing I found necessary. Leave the rest flexible! I wish I had vids of some of the tumbles I've taken and broken nothing!

2). How good are the stock shocks, can they be tuned good for jumps and handling or is there something else i should invest in?

They are great, no leakage.
Stock is 30ish, I like to run 40wt., some run little heavier.

3). Wheels and tires? Is there a good all around tire for all surfaces?
Other threads seem to like badlands or Masher type for all round surface.
1/2 inch offset gives you more stability. I use 1/2 in. offset with HPI 1cm HD axle extenders for extra wide stance (Can't drive...LOL).

4). Stock pinion or install included 24t?
Read up on other threads. Depends on Soooo many variables...In short leave stock 20 for all round (unless running 6s) and watch motor/ esc temps!

5). ESC programming, is the factory program good or should i get the castle link or if not needed just a usb cable and download castle link program. And if so what are some good settings?
Get the castle link, you really paying the money for the usb to 'receiver plug' connector.

6). Anything else i am missing, even basic mods or tuning tips?

You should really read up (there are other forums as well)...All of your above questions have been talked about many times...
