Will the FLM servo plate fit on stock TVP's. I know there will be some modification needed, if any one has a pic that would be great. Thinking of doing a Mid tank build want to order the parts today.

yes drill two holes in the rear for it but you have to think about the rear servo

this was the bulk of a stock tvp mod. has a FLM front plate but no pics and scraped it long ago
Just a plate I modded to hold on the rear servo to aftermarket but stock X tvps

Bankrupter do you remember if you had to modify the plate to fit or was it just adding holes on the TVP's which is easy.

just two holes rear holes for the plate. Had to make the rear servo plate in the first pic. blue box shows full plate all holes for screws were drilled etc. red mount the plate green mount the servo holders. you can't use just the FLM plate and keep the forward t/b servo for a mid tank. its in the way and has to be moved. that was all made from a box of parts I had. note the different hardware bought nothing to build that savage lol all take off parts from other builds

Update: Mid Tank Done!

So all the parts came in so here are some pics on my rendition of a mid tank.

I modded the servo plate to avoid hitting the tranny.

Next I shortened the CEN Radio box and cut out the bottom so the steering servo could fit in. This is also how I mounted my upgraded servo.

Very nice. But the servo looks way to low to work on the stock steering linkage. How do you plan on it to work? Just interested. Can't wait to see the rest of the build.

Next is the throttle servo mounting, linkage setup, and misc wiring pics. Let me know what you all think, any think done wrong? Thanks for all the help from previous posters. :lmao4:

Used stock linkage, with a different servo horn, it seems to work fine. It's connected at a angle, but no binding.

No really it seems fine, no binding. It took me forever to figure everything out.

looks great, the first pic of your throttle servo shows the wires on the outside of the tvp, just my 2 cent, but i'd def think about relocating to the inside of tvp. one snag and you lost your servo. other than that ,it looks fantastic.
