FLM build

just bough this roller off ebay
got it for 290 including a just broken in picco .28 stell spur gear and clutch and bell set up.
got a ways to go. money is the problem though. i will update this thread slowly and will probably ask questions and ask for recommendations.

Question, with the 250cc tank will the FLM servo plate work? I'm thinking about ordering a 250cc tank instead of my 150cc so I can have longer run times.

Tmo I do not know. Someone should know though I'm sure.
The truck was ran a few times but the guy cleaned the whole thing up. If you ever find an item for sale by lilmarksengines don't hesitate. He is a great guy and a joy to work with.
Its also got a bullet proof rear diff

what you guys think? speeds good but is torque to low for steering? ill be using HD spring on saver.

i hear that its very fast and that its faster than most servos that are rated faster

Buy a servo with atleast 200 ounces of torque for steering.

don't buy something with 199 or 189 either. 200 or more.

for steering i would go with the xp ds1015 or ace ds1015 they are the same servo just re branded

Yah go with a 1015 you will love it. However you should also get a HD spring for the servo saver.

you cant run the engine stop with the flm tvp and that battery pack is for the baja and wont fit in the rush box
