First Race

Ok so I did my first race today and 1/4 in 3.4 at 39mph. reaction was .444..........now for my question. What can I do to compete with these guys running 2.9? I have a 3 speed tranny, and thats it what else can I do?

Practice practice and more practice. It takes time to get good all the power in the world won't matter if you can't control it. You will know when you are at the point where it is your car and not you that is holding you back. If your local track offers practice days take advantage of them as much as possible
