    was looking at buying a hpi firestorm and was wondering if any body has had experience with them good or bad before i go to buy one thnx in advance

    They are a fun little RC. Handle well and parts are cheap.

    i have one good lil trucks ... alot of power gets squirly being rear wheel drive only but fun... i also have the mt2... its the 4 wheel drive 1/10 scale .. handles awesome but has a weak low end for the first couple feet then screams.. both nice trucks to get imo...

    thx pope.... if your are going to bash it hard you might want to get the front end parts ... the asembly that builds the whole front end ... bulk head braces arms knuckles ect ... it does take alot to break it but it will break with a hard weird landing ..

    finally took the fire storm out and omg its quik,only thing is it wheel stands very easy,is there any way to stop it doing it as much or a wheelie bar set up to look at,other than that so far a very good truck.

    nice! glad your having fun with it .. pretty fast trucks ..i just run mine a lil on the rich side it helps a lil but not to much .. when it hooks up it backflips ... just throtle control... i don't think theres a wheelie bar for them ... don't think i ever seen one ..

    If you want it to stop doing wheelies, soften the rear suspension so it squats when you punch it.

    good idea bob... but these trucks are already super soft and only have about 1 inch of travel on them .they squat then lift up really easy when hooked up good .. just a very light front end the weights not centered to good i think ..
