Finaly ran my xl

Hi guys i just got back from holidays and got to brake in and run my new xl.First impression was that this engine is a bugger to starty first time.Had to heat it up with a hair drier and the roto start was still struggleing.Anyhow i got it going and idled 2 tanks then did a further 2 running it gently.After that i started tuning.No gear change at all so i had to take the gears out and adjust.After 2 attempts it was chaging into second and then third.It is changing into second a little early no but i will adjust that later.I have the Cen pipe on it and have the fuel line in the tank mod to stop the half tank lean.Well what can i say apart from this truck rips:10:.I don't know how much is down to the cen pipe as i never ran the hpi one but for such a big truck the top speed and tourque is amaseing.I had no much read about overheating problems and over all i am very impressed:10:.

Where did you order the cen pipe ? I need one for my xl. Savage Xls are a beast.:nicks:

i have a cen 7.7 pipe for my axail .32 stilll need to test it
