as there are a lot of engines on the market does anyone know what spec to look for that makes one engine faster than another, thanks

Okay fast motors for the savage. Picco 28 now the next three are the same motors just diffrent names. Lrp28, sh28, losi 454.

look at the fan boys in this thread... Can you tell who is our in house modder is yet? Want to see mine ? You can take the vid and hunt youtube for any others you think can do what it does and make a solid decision on a motor. Ill look like less of a fan boi too ...
