I have on thing to say about the failsafe and that is that i don't think that it is necesary. Because wehn i turn off my radio the reciever simply stops working and the engine goes to an idle. I have no failsafe, all i did was put a heavier spring on the throttle. The same thing happens when i pull out my crystals in my radio or recievr. There's a few bucks back in my pocket.:nutshot:

I thought the same thing until that day my receiver cooked for no reason and my truck was stuck wide open even after it went into the woods and hit the tree it still sat there upside down wide open not a fun thing for me so there is my two cents take it for what you will

Buying a fail safe is cheaper then replacing the whole truck, I have seen way too many just take off and hit something (dam car tires).

wait til someone uses the same frequency you have.
a failsafe will stop the truck but without it you may have a serious runaway.
or maybe your truck will be drawn like a magnet to the fencepole or sidewalk you were badly trying to miss.
I wasted 2 rc`s which I would probably still have today IF I used a failsafe back then.
