F4.1 Crank Bearing Replacement

Dose anyone know where to get INNER crank bearings for the HPI F4.1 engine? I have sourced the outer sealed bearing from VXB but all the 12 x 24 x 6 MM bearings out there measure 11.8MM on the inner race. measurements on factory crank bearing is 12.6MM x 23.9MM x 5.8MM. or .50" x .94' x .23" .

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes Jam I did , I've spoke with 7+ bearing companies this week, just got done with BOCA they are sending a 12.7MM x 24MM x 10MM. The inner race extends 10MM out and flush on other side , will try and grind down if it covers the crank port. wish me luck.


Here's what I got for a response from "HPI" (U.K.) .

Unfortunately the bearings are supplied pre-pressed into the crankcase.
The best way of obtaining the bearings is to take out the old ones measure them up and there will be bearings of the same size on the market.

The engine itself is actually manufactured by a company called Force. The 4.1 was discontinued back in 2011, we did receive a few extra engines in 2014 here in the UK.
It may be worth contacting Force themselves as they may still produce a variant of this engine that uses the same or similar bearings.

Update on F4.1 inner crank bearing, I found the following bearing is an exact fit for the F4.1 Inner crank bearing.

Still waiting to hear from HPI they were going to contact FORCE engines as FORCE wouldn't respond to my Emails.

I have just been to see the products department. They have said to me it would be more beneficial to contact a bearing supplier as these bearings will no longer be manufactured for ourselves.

FORCE Finally got back to me , Gave them Engine info. and picks of F4.1 , Hopefully the have a Bearing for F4.1 for others out there besides the High priced an very limited ones on EBAY.

For the request parts of HPI F4.1 engine (.25) , our code # is B003 bearing 13x24x6mm , # CS2108T SG shaft 13mm .

Did put F4.1 back together with ALL New- Crank Bearings Front and Rear, Piston / Sleeve , Con-Rod and Piston pin, Used the seal it ALL up method that "X" put up in Nitro Engine Sealing and Olds97 Lss found picks for. This is the only way to go Even for a new engine right out of the box . Also put some Anti-Seize on sleeve .
