Hi today i ran my savage x4.6 for about an hour then suddenly the exhaust melted at the point where it joins the rubber tube there also seems to be an excess of fuel in the exhaust. Its not running to lean. I haven't got a temperature gauge with me. It it possible for the excess fuel to burn in the exhaust.

If the silicone coupling between header and pipe aren't lasting very long be sure to adjust the exhaust pipe so that is touching/overlapping header pipe.

not sure on the composite pipes but if your header and pipe are both alloy having them touching can send out RFI which can cause glitching on even the best radio systems.....
I usually have a 1/4 inch gap between pipe and header.......
