Engine protector/roll cage

Hello everybody!

I'm running Savage X4.6, and i need some tips with engine protector.
I have standard protector, but its little bit tricky with engine heater.
I mean, i want to put engine heater on engine without removing any body parts or protectors.
Is there any aftermarket protectors or any good diy tips for better protector?

You could use a heat gun instead of the engine heater. I use one and it works great.

You talking about the rollover engine protector, I have the HPI standard one and I do not have any trouble with the glow igniter having access, maybe you need to make the hole in the rear of the body a bit bigger and if it is mounted high just drop the body down a bit.....

I think he’s having trouble getting a engine warmer on, not his glow plug igniter.

I had used heat gun earlier, but i think that engine heater is better, especially in offroad conditions, no need for 220V, just 12V on cigarrete lighter is enough.
