This really isn't a hop-up but why not share the info!!!

Have you had your engine plate slipping? Especially when jumping?
Been chewing through those spur and clutch gears?

Try this:

Put thread lock (blue) smears on all over the bottom of the engine plate (Not just the screw holes)... Just make sure the surfaces are clean!

Tell me what you think! It stopped my problems! 3 litres and still no problem!
 
Thanks for the recommendation....For a second there, you sounded like you were going to bust out with an infomercial....I was waiting to hear the sale on steak knives, lol.
 
When I was running my stock engine plate and mount I drilled a hole through both of them and put dowel pin on the front and rear of the mount. You just can't change the lash without removing the pin. I like the gear combo 16/47 so it was never an issue with me.

dooobee suggested that to me when I first joined the site. I came here with
