Engine overheating.

Hi there everyone.I posted athread about this before and i'd thought i'd give it another try.I got a lot of good answers from you guys and i thank u.I have a 4.6 rtr that is overheating past 275f.I know you guys say don't tune to the temp gun but if your engines overheating then theres a prob.It's tuned properly and the high speed needle is at the factory setting so i can't richen it anymore but the engine still has lots of power.The engine bogs off the line a bit but i'm really not worried about that.I know you guys said that it might be an air leek but i can still sort of tune it.Can anyone help please.I've tried everyone and know one seems to know.It'll be up for sale if i can't fix it.thanks

What plug are you running .. Is the engine sealed .. Check for air leaks
If its a hot day run a cold plug

Hi there.My plug is a cooler one and no the engines not sealed.How do i check for air leaks and can i only seal the carb and backing plate?thanks.
