Engine/carb Problem?

Hi There,
Got My Savage Out The Other Day After Leaving It For 6 Weeks And When I Started It Sounded As If The Revs Were Stuck On.
So I Put New Batteries In And Started It Up Again And Still The Same Problem. The Truck Was Working Fine Before I Put It Away.just Wondering If Anyone Help Me With This As Any Information Would Be Grateful.

What does it do when you apply the breaks ? do the rev down?
I wonder if you are WAY lean on the bottom end try riching it up .

Also might have a MAJOR air leak .. How hard was it to start ?

When I Push The Carb In It Revs Down But I Am Not Getting Any Response When I Use The Controller.
As For Starting It Was A Bit Slower Than Normal But Once I Swithched It Off And Started It Again It Was Ok For Starting.
As I Am New To This And Only Been On The Rc Scene 6 Months Any Advice Would Help.
