hey guys what are the effects of running in sand because dosent it get into the moving parts and once it gets in there dosent it wear them down

I'd be interested to know too. I'd wouldn't think it would be too bad as I would think it wouldn't stick very well as long as your truck wasn't too oily/greasy. Just make sure it doesn't get into your engine as it would destroy it for sure.
 
fine sand will get in places you would never think it could get in. it will also wear down moving parts hella quick. just clean as well as you can and relube everything.
 
so do you guys think it is safe to race in the sand dunes because i am thinking of buying some proline paddle tyres.
 
I live pretty close to the beach in south FL, everything is sand (or coral) Sand is a pain to clean, you think you got all of it you will find your wrong. In a way it seems like you can never get it all. Even just trying to get it all off the cleaning head so I can remove the plug, never fails as soon as I get the plug off next time I look there will be a grain just balancing at the opening. gets me every time
