Id like to get some sort of on-board battery voltage meter for my truck and have just come across the Dynamite Sentry, the HPI battery meter is really overpriced for what it is over here in the UK and i wouldnt trust one of those cheap tacky looking ones on eBay, this Dynamite one tests both NiMH and LiPo battery voltages so if i do ever decide to convert to B/L / LiPo or buy a model that uses LiPo's then i can use it for that too and is a bit cheaper over here than the HPI meter.

I'm running that same voltwatch on my XL but it seems as though it quit on me. Reads full charge no matter what now. It used to drop as it should, and aslo when the battery was under a load it would light up the next couple lights down and then go back up when you let go of hte trigger but now it just stays at the top light. I'm gonna take it back.

London please do a review if you pick one up. Id love to read it !

I have also had the voltwatch.I don't use them anymore but never had a issue

Going by the above pic I'm guessing I'd need a Y harness too?

Got it a couple of days ago, errr, it's a bit bigger than I'd anticipated, it's friggin huge poop thought it would be around the size of the screen alone 🙁

Wow that's huge!

Think you might be able to squeeze it on the side of your tank, if you slide it over a bit?

Kinda hard to find a spot for it with the midtank @ that size.

What did it run you?

Was $29.99 + shipping to the UK, from eBay, was about £25 GBP altogether, I think lol

Yea, I really don't know where it's going to go, the size of it has really got me stumped, I think the only place for it is beside the tank but I'll have to shift the tank over as you say, 5mm or so for it to be a nice fit.

that is huge... that sucks. Still look forward to seeing how it works.

If I'd got it in the UK I'd send it back before I even opened the pack but i really can't be bothered to send it all the way back to the US so I'll see what I can do with it, I'll get some pics of it working, wired n all shortly.

this is def a ban-ban- idea for a mod... Last thing i want to do is drain my batteris by accident... its ashame it is so big...

larson, the cell meter you posted seems like quite a weak product? have you got some pics of it mounted up?

that first option is a crazy idea... a little uneccessary??? but the second option seems like a ban-ban- idea...

haha i keep doing that... if i type g.d. as in good. Then it thinks i am swearing.... Londoner haha getting old... got to keep up with the new slang ban-ban- ban-ban-

lol I don't think I'll get that one.

Well I got it fitted.

Managed to get the extra Y-splitter squeezed into the Rx box, I plugged the male end of the splitter into the power slot in the Rx, then one female end of the Y the Sentry meter plugs into and the other go's off to the power switch then to the hump pack, so the meter is only on when the power is on.

Moved the tank over 5mm and secured the meter to the TVP using a couple of cable ties, pulled up bloody tight!
