Dying Foam tires and rims

I want to dye the dish rims on my foam tires black can I do this or no?

You can dye the rims. But idk about the foams/tires

No the tires come pre glued to the rims so I wanted to know if I could dye them even though the foam tires are on there.

I would try them on an old set first, but it would look sweet as crap if you could dye the tires

No foam tires are black already I just want to make the rims black too.

I wouldn't get the foam wet, they will become un-balanced.

Yup or spray paint. I may have missed it but why do you want to change the color of the foams? You can see them anyway.

No No they are the foam tires for carpet racing. Don't want to dye the foam just the rims but they come pre glued to the rims.

I know it sounds crazy but a friend and i have done it with spray paint and they came out pretty cool looking. try an old pair, that's what we did. Just a suggestion.
