DX3S now DSM2

Reports are that the New DX3S is now dsm2.

I am doing some digging on the subject as everything says that it is now compatable with dsm2 rx's but does not say it is working on DSM2.

This would make the DX3S a much better value over the DX3R as the only advantage to the R would be 30 model memory and 5.5 frame rate.

I am waiting on a responce from Horizon and will post the answers when I get them.

Just heard back from horizon and when the new DX3S is bound to a DSM2 RX it will transmite in DSM2.

This kind of makes the DX3R's only advantages be the 30 model memory and 5.5ms framerate. While the DX3s will have a 10 model memory and 11ms framerate but will have the option of telemetry.

You can up grade to the new dsm2 model dx3s for 50 dollars.

Pope I got that DX3.0 model number SPM20320. I talked to Spektrun in Feb and was told it is compatable with DSM2 surface receivers, saving it to one of the four memories. To me four memories is enough instead of 20 and for the price it is a steal.

dsm2 is all about the frame rate alex.
