Yet another day of fun bashing the savage and I'm starting to wonder... Did i blow another hitec 645 in my steering? No, I didn't, thank god. But I did notice something that I have never played with before, my "cam style" steering link. It was so "loose" that with no servo and me turning the wheels by hand it was catching. No wonder my truck wouldn't turn 🙁. Anyways, what do you guys run yours at for adjustment on the spring? Is this a 1 setting fits all deal or a variation servo to servo? I have never really messed with this before and the savage is a new truck to me still. Thanks guys 🙂.

The stock setting for the adjustment nut is 4mm. I have mine cranked down a little more because the servo I run has some monster torque. Once you get it adjusted to where you want it, put some blue loctite or threadlocker on it to prevent it from backing off.
