Hi to all,

I'm new to the HPI world. Just bought about 2 months ago a savage 25. Wanted to change the braking system because i didn't like the stock one. I managed to buy the HPI Stainless Steel Dual Disk Brake Set, but didn't install it as yet. After reading on some forums over here, i decided to buy graphite disc brakes instead, so i bought a set. When i recieved the graphite disc brakes, i realized that graphite ones are not as thin as the stainless ones and the disc hub of the stock one has to be used because this is a direct replacement for the stock disc. Is it possible to used the dual disc brake conversion but instead of using the stainless steel, i'll use the graphite discs?

hmm I'm not sure but I'm sure someone here will have the answer shortly for ya but i wanted to take the time to welcome you to the forum, were glad to have you here with us!!

welcome to the forum...yes your new fiber disc breaks will fit directly onto the old hub they are the same on a x as a 25.. the hub that is... it might look like they are to thick to fit on the hub but they ride next to the edges ... and the fiber disc breaks are by far the best way to go to so good choice on them and canning the metal ones that suck... hope this helped ... happy bashn..
