hi guys. Got a savage X 4.1 with a dual slipper spur in it. I am planning to replace it with a single slipper spur. What should I do to make this happen? Will a single slipper spur directly fit it? Thanks. 🙂

Parker, I doint know if this is exactly what is needed, but one way to post pages etc... is just pull up what ever you want an image of on your screen, then hit "print screen" button and an image of your desktop will be in scrap memory, all you have to do is open paint or whatever you use and paste in on a empty file, then crop what you want and save as a jpg, then you know what to do.

hope that helps

I will definetly have to give it a try. Thanks Wister.

No, it's not an upgrade kit in the RTR-to-SS-spec sense, it just addresses the diff and slipper problems of the early RTR. But if you don't have aluminum diff cups, it's tough to beat for the price!

Thanks, thts just what that guy on the ebay site I posted is calling that, that is why I had that in my head. It is a good price.

follow up question, is the single slipper setup better than the dual slipper setup? I am wondering why HPI went back with the single slipper in the Savage X SS.

thanks for all your replies. 🙂

I just bought a new spurr gear and it had 2 pads and I stuck one to the back of the spurr and 1 to the metal disc that goes on to the spurr, should I have just used 1??
