drive train take the strain?!

hello all,
I am planning on buying some proline badlands tomorrow
is there any modification required to run these?
do they put extra force put onto gears etc?
I have locked my spur down already

What tires are you running? These are smaller diameter than the old GT savage tires and newer GT2 savage-x tires. So, if your running either of those, it will put less strain on things and probably take some of your speed, so you may want to gear up a tooth on the bell to compensate.

Going up on the bell may sound good but i suggest you try them first.
The Badlands have loads more grip compared to other tires.

I ordered a set. I am hoping they will keep my first gear from stripping again. If they don't work out I will put them on the 8ight-t

got the badlands 3.8 I'm the end not a lot of ddifference in size
funny you should say that Francis I took it out yesterday to try the new wheels and stripped my 1st gear! for the first time!

I have a set to put on my truggy.

Had them on my kyosho inferno ST-R years ago and immediately heard my diffs whining when driving them.

BP diffs on your Savage will hold up fine. My car was a Truggy , 8 or 9 years ago..
