drift tires

has anyone tried to make a set of drift tires yet?

youtube savage drift, there's people who glue a section of drainpipe tio std wheels and drift em! Looks bloody fun!

yes thats how you do it. How i did it for my RS4(before the drift kits). Go to Home Depot/Lowes with a Rim in hand(no tire) then match it up with the plumbing drain pipes(white) off the top of my head you'll probably end up around 3" but like i said check. Once you get home measure the tire, cut the pipe and glue and bad boy on there.. you can now Savy drift

i drift my savy with street tires. Did the steering knuckle mod to turn sharper and with some street treads that thing will drift all day long.

i have a wore out set of dirt bonz and I'm gonna use my hot wire to take off wat tread thats left i'll try that first thanx for the info guys

I made a set.I went to home depot and bought 4-4" pipe couplings you can use PVC but I chose to use ABS because they are black.All you have to do is grind the inside lip off that is in the middle then push them over the stock rims with a little force than use a hot glue gun to glue the back they work good alot of fun I love mine.If you are interested I will post some pics.Oh yea be careful not to over rev the engine LOL :duh:
